Andrea Reider: New Photographs, November 2014

I just wanted to share some new photographs. My technique continues to evolve, but the main thing hasn’t changed. I’m thoroughly enjoying everything about photographing and enhancing these images.

The top image is enhanced in many ways, but it’s not very changed from the original photograph. The bottom two images are highly processed and quite far from the originals.

The next two photographs are from Angelo Heights, a small neighborhood in Echo Park (close to downtown Los Angeles). Angelo Heights is known for its Victorian-era homes, many of which have been beautifully restored.

These broken steps are just above Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, down the street from Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One office and gallery.

Back to West Hollywood for these photographs in front of Jones Cafe on Santa Monica Boulevard. I’ve driven by countless times and always admired the tile work and building.

That’s it for now. I’ll be posting more photographs soon.
