Los Angeles Union Station: Collage #3

Los Angeles Union Station: Collage #3

Located at 800 North Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles Union Station opened in May 1939 and became known as the “Last of the Great Railway Stations” to be built in the United States.

Union Station is still a major Southern California transportation hub with long-distance, regional, and commuter trains and several Metro Rail subway and light rail lines.

A group of architects led by John Parkinson and Donald B. Parkinson combined several architectural styles: Dutch Colonial Revival, Mission Revival, and Streamline Moderne. The Parkinsons—as they were known—designed many landmark buildings in Los Angeles, including Los Angeles City Hall, Bullocks Wilshire, and Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

100 signed prints are available for $100.

Free shipping in the U.S. and Canada. $10 everywhere else.
